Zuka Advent 2020 Day 7: Misono Sakura

Sakura has become one of my favourite musumeyaku as of late and yes I am incredibly sad we're losing her in like. Less than a year. But!!!! I'm sure she has a bright future ahead of her. I also feel like she has 20 contracts lined up so she'll be fine. She reminds me a lot of her predecessor, Chapi, and Chapi is a fuckin badass just paving her way through the Toho circuit so I have No Fear for once.
What is your favourite role and why? While personally I wasn't a huge fan of the show, I absolutely LOVED seeing Sakura as Dahlia in Arkadia (2017). She's really good at "power musumeyaku" roles and Dahlia was definitely that. I'm also legally obligated to mention her role as Gabrielle in A Farce in Pigalle (2020) because holy SHIT was that fantastic. I'm also legally obligated to mention her role as the titular Elisabeth in the Elisabeth (2018) shinko and honest to fuck, 2018 Sisis are my favourite Sisis (of the 2010s, anyways). I guess when you're playing off one of the most badass musumeyaku of the modern era, you learn some shit.
What is your favourite thing about them? So apparently she's a math wizard which, as someone who hates math, finds incredibly interesting. It's a good thing they don't tip in Japan because 1000% Sakusaku would be responsible for calculating the tip. I also just learned she took the entrance exam twice. Then she graduated at the top of her class. I guess Tsuki is just filled with badass musumeyaku top stars and I, for one, am very much in favor of these musumeyaku rights!
What would you like to see them do? Okay, so I KNOW she's already played Juliet in a show but that show also stars She Who Must Not Be Named so it doesn't count (except for the Romeo and Juliet parts, which i'll watch eventually). It's too bad she was pushed hella young because she and Ari would have been the most tender RetJ Romeo and Juliet since Saki and Ayu. It just be like that sometimes, I guess. Also, if she was gonna stick around, Black Lizard restage WHEN hank????
I made it to seven of these!!!! I'm just as shocked as you are. Will I still be on my Tsuki bullshit tomorrow? I don't know either that's why this is fun.
