Zuka Advent 2020 Day 5: Tsukishiro Kanato
Dec. 5th, 2020 08:45 pmAll day I was debating actually doing this because, while I HAVE been watching her "grow up" via the Saki project, it really wasn't until Pigalle that I Noticed and decided to stan so. Here we are. The Pigalle stan post.
Day 5: Tsukishiro Kanato
(don't even act surprised you knew this was coming)
What is your favourite thing about them? At the risk of sounding mean, I like how she's a klutz fdhkjfdhjkfdjk Reiko please don't hurt yourself anymore. I also think she's QUITE attractive in full Otokoyaku gear. Look i'll probably revisit this, like, next year and gush over a million more things i'm really just on a Pigalle high right now.
(yes I did have to add a bit of her Yuki days at least once don't @ me)
What would you like to see them do? Okay so I saw Zenda for the first time like, yesterday so a) there NEEDS to be a restage and b) I need to see her play Rudolf Rassendyll THIS INSTANT. I'm also just excited to see what her (pretty much confirmed) top run is going to be like and what roles they're gonna give her because they have another Big Voice Top Star on their hands and I NEED to see hank take advantage. At the risk of sounding too Daimon fangirl, give Reiko Don Juan that'd be so sick.
I'm very much writing this on the edge of my seat so I really DON'T know who i'm gonna write about tomorrow. Maybe someone not in Yuki/Tsuki but who tf knows!

In all honestly I really was wondering if I should wait to do this before I had more "noticed" Reiko under my belt but she's been on my mind all day so WHY TF NOT GUSH ABOUT HER. I, for one, had NO IDEA she had that BIG VOICE hiding this entire damn time. I knew she could sing. But holy SHIT. Like, I got the same chills I got when I heard her sing in Pigalle that I got when I heard Daimon for the first time so like. This may end up being a deeper dive than expected eventually.

What is your favourite role and why? Preeeeeeeeeeeeeesenting a rare instance where I DON'T say Luigi Lucheni! But okay, it's up there. My ACTUAL favourite Reiko role right now is Charles from A Farce in Pigalle. That "onagaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii" lives rent free in my brain as well as her going OFF in the parade like. Reiko. Where the fuck was that voice hiding I didn't notice it in Yuki and i've watched literally 10 shows with you in it by now. I know it wasn't like, a "role" or anything but Welcome to Takarazuka is beautiful and Reiko was so stunning please watch it.
