Zuka Advent Day 9: Kanou Yuuri
Dec. 9th, 2020 08:07 pmWell after The Week of Tsukigumi, I guess i'm back on my Yuki bullshit.
Day 9: Kanou Yuuri
It's Aki! Look: Air is responsible for bringing me into this hell so naturally I, too, had to fall in love with their boy. And what a TALENTED kid she is!
What is your favourite role and why? This one's actually a bit hard to pick for me! Her role as Georges in the Robespierre shinko is AMAZING but what really wowed me was her role as Caspar in PRxPRince! Apparently she had like, ZERO formal singing training going into zuka AND YET she somehow has an OPERATIC VOICE??? Where tf was that hiding Aki??? Shoutouts also have to go to what I call her "Daimon" roles (aka: she dies a lot) in Wansu and Don Juan, and of course Roland in Fiery Bolero (where she didn't die!!! but she got her heart broken :( )
What is your favourite thing about them? So besides the hidden opera voice, she's secretly (but not so secret) a goth and as a child of the scene renaissance in 2009-2011, i'm legally obligated to stan. Girl has good fashion sense. She also used to be part of the "Western Drama Club" in high school and I think that's neat!
What would you like to see them do? So, she's very clearly on bro/uncle track so obviously she needs to play The Daddy of All Uncle Roles: Lord Capulet (can you tell i'm trying to manifest Sakigumi RetJ yet or)
I think i'm slowly coming back to Yukigumi (I mean. I still have like 30 Saki shows to watch I better get back on that) so will we stay here tomorrow??? Maybe.
