Zuka Advent 2020 Day 6: Akatsuki Chisei

Day 6: Akatsuki Chisei
It'ssssssssssssssssss Ari!!! I could go on for a while about this cute lil' bean who grew up before my eyes in the span of 30 seconds when I watched the Elisabeth 2018 Shinko yesterday. I still can't believe she's yabai now (I say as we're. The exact same age.). She's incredibly talented (like, stupid levels talented) and of course, has Big Voice so i'm obligated to stan. Tsuki has a bright future that's for sure.
What is your favourite role and why? At the risk of sounding basic, her Tod is something special I swear. One of the most unique takes on a Zuka Tod i've seen in a long time, and that smirk was incredibly illegal. I actually found the entirety of the 2018 Shinko to feel VERY similar to the 2016 Honko, which has a special place in my heart for being an incredibly impressive performance. Ari's Tod is tender, but terrifying, and she puts so much emotion into the role. Where a lot of Tods I find are very stiff-faced (for lack of a better term), Ari allows her Tod to actually feel, and it's amazing. I really hope in like 5-8 years she gets to play Honko Tod because damn, that would be one HECK of a performance.
Special shoutout also has to go to A-EN because a) I'm predictable and b) it was the first time I saw her and she literally stole my heart with how adorable she is. It's also the reason I refused to see her as anything other than an adorable chipmunk until. Well. Elisabeth happened (and a bit in Pigalle and of course Arkadia, let's be real).
What is your favourite thing about them? ARI IS THE MOST ADORABLE AND SHY BEAN I HAVE SEEN EVER. She's also a huge nerd and I think that's neat. Maybe one day i'll run into her in an online game or something (now I gotta find out what she plays). She's also a shibe lover, and shibes are my favourite breed of doggos so i'm obligated to support her.
Another thing I really like about her that i'm learning and appreciating through this madman Saki project i'm doing is that she really reminds me of Saki. Not just because she's adorable baby boye-turned-sexushii heartbreaker, but because you've got this mega talented top of class kid who can sing, dance and act and fits in with their choice of troupe so well. I feel like one day, i'm going to do a madman Ari project like I am with Saki, but it's nice to be able to follow her career "live".
What would you like to see them do? After seeing that Tod, I require Ari in villain roles THIS INSTANT. She wants to be seen as more yabai than babie boye (Look, Ari, if Saki could outgrow it YOU CAN TOO) and what better way to do that than by playing some sexy villains? Honestly she's so talented I think she could play anything, but if I have to pick a SPECIFIC role... you know what honestly i'm just stuck on her playing Honko Tod one day. Make it happen hank Tsuki is STACKED with talent right now (yes I WILL be posting about my new boys over the next few days).
EDIT: I scrolled down to Leigh's post and I can't believe I forgot that Ari would be the most tender Romeo please give her RetJ thanks hank.
I MIGHT take a break from the Tsuki love over the next few days (mostly because this is a RECENT revelation and I need to see more shinkos with my kids in them before I scream about them), but I started even stanning the Kumichou today so I don't think i'm coming out of this hell anytime soon.
